Soil Inquiry Kit

This kit is available from Canada’s Non-profit Outdoor Learning Store. The kit includes a 10 page PDF with book specific lesson sparks, guiding questions, and curricular connections for playful explorations of soil in your school garden or school yard. The kit also includes 8 curated picture books as well as multiple resources for hands on exploration and learning. It supports student learning across the curriculum, with a specific focus on how soil is different from dirt, and the importance of soil in our daily lives.
