Transition To Teaching Outdoors

Join the momentum for teaching out of doors! This 90 minute session is offered to districts or schools looking for inspiration, practical ideas, and capacity building for their school community who wish to rethink where and how learning happens in our schools. Specific tips, based on this blog post will be discussed, and the session or series can be customized to unique specifications of your school community or administration team. How to teach without pencils and paper, resource management, targeted and effective ways to reduce known barriers, effective assessment, and whole school/ district strategic thinking for taking the learning outdoors will be offered. This is a session built on Megan’s own professional experiences as an elementary school teacher as well as research conducted with educators across Canada.
